wanted please Rhino Dynamic 160 amp

Just asking if any one may have a Rhino Dynamic 160 amp controller DS162K01 , My brother as past away and i am trying sort his scooter out drive royal 4 , Is controller was faulty but he never got round to repair it, I have now got the scooter and want to repair it to sell and help pay for his funeral, I get the error code 9 controller fault so will not run, i have looked at it but all seems clean on the mother board, all the cables check out ok and the lcd display works ok just comes up with error code 9 ?. I have looked all other the internet and no one as got one INC ebay, so my last resort is on here, or could you put a newer rhino on and covert the pins for the display frome 8 pin to 14 or is it 16 pin, any help please, thanking you all.

Have you downloaded the manuals from Dynamic Mobility? There may be some clue there for interpreting the error code.
