P222se - how much ?

Postby expresso » 25 Aug 2019, 01:02

I never sold a chair before - but i am thinking of selling one of my chairs - its a P222se - in great shape - Air tires black -tilt - new motors a few years ago - hardly used since then - its been my back up last resort chair for past few years -

i dont have room anymore - and if i get a new chair next year - i want to sell this one - question is -

how much should i sell it for ? i can sell it as is - or with the ADD ON 60ah i have on it already - i dont mind selling it together -

what would be a good asking price ?

Thats very hard to answer. Or sell. Many almost new chairs go for peanuts. Many probably most never sell. Some - if its exactly what someone is after will sell for what I consider way too much. So who knows. If you can ship, best bet is ebay.

i can post some pictures when i am ready to sell - will wait to start the process for the new chair first - early next year - then i can take good pictures and see what happens - its a good chair no problems - it dosnt suit me anymore and with no room to spare - makes no sense to keep it after i get another chair - i would have if i had room - to use to doc. visits - dental etc, because its a compact narrow chair - and easy to manual in tight spots - has tilt headrest - matrix back - jay cushion - black tires air and front - have extra rims and flat free tires also but they are grey original kind - group24 with 60ah ADD ON - i can sell it both as a package or without the ADD ON if they dont want -

like BM said - its hard to sell used chairs unless you give them away or someone likes it and fits it - seat width is 17 inchs x 18 deep i believe

has pilot plus 100A and 8.5 motors - but they seem more like 8 to me - motors were replaced a few years ago but hardly used chair so i dont even think a solid 6 months of use on them since they were changed out - i still have the original motors that worked - left side was a bit weaker when stopping - but otherwise worked fine - and its Black of course

You can check used prices on ebay. I would list it on craigslist for $1700 or so and see what happens but be prepared to negotiate the price and be careful who you talk to. If you sell it locally someone like you will be able to offer a lot of advice, that can mean a lot.

Texas $1,599.00

California $3,498.98

Georgia $2,999.99

This one sold for $$1,850.00 but with free pallet shipping.

thanks - i may hold on to it at the moment and gift it to someone who wont be able to get one - hes in a manual but not in this country - should be here next year - its a friend of one my PA's - so if all goes well in my thinking - it would be a great gift for the person and i feel good helping someone this way also -

i will wait till i start my new chair process next year and hopefully if all goes the way i vision it - - would be a surprise - i just had this idea but didnt share it with my PA just yet. just in case
