What is the size of the brushes in a 4 pole F55 motor ?

EMD were bought by parvalux https://www.parvalux.com/geared-electri ... ear-motors
They will have both brushes and EQUIVELENT motors. Not sure how easy it is to buy parts or low quantity of motors though.

Yours are PM90 4pole 174rpm EMD. 12V brake.

I am in Canada, not easy to get the parts. If someone could post the measurements and a picture would be a great help, I then could go to my local carbon brush supplier and get a match.

On Ebay you can find everything.
Quality brushes at an acceptable price.

You MIGHT be able to get dimensions from looking up your motors on the Eurton site (mentioned earlier) or possibly by calling their tech support folks. I don't know if they can / will ship to Canada or not, but they definitely do retail sales...

Seems a lot of agravation, when you consider you can get the correct ones from parvalux in my link... Who used to be called EMD who made the motors.
