Probably only individuals. The size of the market for such things would be tint so probably not really viable. And then theres the "attachement" problem. Every chair is different? And the reversing issue. Even the turn in place issue.

Right. Every chair differs and must be bespoke.

DIY easily .

I seem to remember other threads here about this, and IIRC there were cautions mentioned about making sure the board has reasonable suspension to avoid bouncing the passenger to much... I'd also point out that the passenger needs to be sufficiently agile and in good enough shape to stay on the board, or deal with coming off it (Keeping the chair speed reasonable would probably help with the latter...)

I once had a kristen. She used to look like she was pushing my powerchair but used a set of shoes with pop out wheels. Those things sounded loud. Tons of vibration at full speed on the road. But apparently she liked that. She was a 19 year old carer.

It was chill and comfortable, with marvellous views, when cruising down cycle lane alone the THEMES, from Tower Bridge to the Parliament last September , overtaking slow cyclists at times.

With lithium under our seat, we'll head for a gourmet dish 27 km away with NO ACCESSIBLE transportation, without second thought. The board is of real need for us, not just fun. It it built to last , with a pair of inline skate wheels last hundreds of kilometres.

To enable a 125 lb girl to stay onboard at 16 kph, the vibration from cracks must be minimized. The most efficient way to do it is to let the chair to take all the weight. It is so adjusted that the piggy board's caster touch ground ONLY when chair picks up speed or up an incline .

It's much easier for just fun.

People in the US seem to be very limited in their views. I mean generally that if its not usa they seem to ignore it. Dont consider that its a world market now we have the internet. Even many us sellers frequently only list US postal zip codes, dont ship overseas for some reason.

The market for products isnt just in the US. Or in my case in the UK. I buy things all the time from south korea, australia, china, european countries, the USA, and more. In this year alone I spent around 8k on Hong Kong on large items. Thats the opposite side of the planet. Took TWO DAYS to my door. And was around 30% cheaper than buying in the UK. Also bought tons of stuff from aliexpress, and shipped from china. Same thing from EBay. Bought lots of tuff in germany, france, and even a transfer gearbox for my carers 4 X 4 from spain. Along with some RC stuff. I buy wherever there is stock or an item I found that is what I need. Or because of cost. I wouldnt every worry about buying overseas.

I suspect that the things you are looking for could be found on chinese auction sites, or shipped to you by shirley, or whatever. This is 2024, the world is one big shop. The internet is its shop window.

I sent a large box to memphis to a member here a few months back, and it was about £12 so I dont know why that would be. Fast too.

What modification have you made to the chair so that it reaches 16 km/h Shirley?

I agree. Just on safety grounds we need the impact absorption in the case of a crash stop. banghead
