is there a better version?

Postby duke1 » 23 Nov 2020, 15:44

hi all both my tinas outdoor chairs use these for securing the motors and i have had to replace them several times and am looking for a stronger heavy duty type that can take a little abuse and not be all floppy in a couple of months, now as far as i can see they appear mostly to be identical bar some have a seal.
theres no scope on either chair to enlarge the fitment so must be m8 is there anything you guys know of that lasts longer? cheers

axial motors are mounted to the swing arm and stabilised by 2 threaded bars as in pic

You MIGHT be better off using rose joints.

You might also require

And of course some suitable M8 bolts.

Rose joints come in super high quality, and not... No doubt the £££ ones will be better.

Might be adjusted too short the stud.

Should allow some play for swing arm .
