few questions for those who have converted thier chair to lithium.

my goal is to get the most range out of the chair.
i weigh enough to require a bariatric wheelchair
i never plan to get on a plane with it EVER (fear of flying)

on AliExpress and a few other places i have seen these batteries or similar 280ah ones
https://www.evlithium.com/hot-lithium-battery/944.html

would these be a good choice of battery to make a battery pack out of ?

i will be receiving a jazzy 1450 in the next few months and looking at the way the batteries fit in the chair, it seams like i could make a 8 cell pack and fit it in the chair.

i assume dont bother with a bms and if i top balance the batteries when building the pack, the pack should do ok if i top balance it every other month or two after that.

any other ideas and or suggestions welcome

1. you MUST top balance at every single charge. Cell have differening internal resistance and differing self discharge rates. After 1 day as soon as the pack reaches its CV voltage at least 1 cell will have shot way past the 3.600V safe point. Once full theres nowhere for the extra power to go. It doesent get wasted as heat or water breakdown into gasses and recombination like lead.

2. Those cells wont fit I dont think. At least if the biggest battery is grp 24 as I expect.
