R-Net Joystick Spares

I'm trying to find a blanking plug for an lcd joystick:

The plug fits here:

I have 2 joystick but only 1 has a plug.

If its not available I can print one but it's an awkward complicated shape. I assume some sort of attachment or test probe can connect to the pcb pads it exposes and a previous owner lost it.

I would suggest you call the manufacturer as they have always been helpful in the past.

Is the cap to protect the controller from water and dirt?

Yes. And shorts, etc. It designed to allow access to that board connection. Probably firmware access.
