Magnetic connector to replace XLR-3

Postby sergey0 » 12 Jan 2024, 18:08

Hello friends. The OttoBock Juvo B4 wheelchair has a magnetic connector for connecting the charger to the wheelchair (I have attached a photo). Does anyone know where I can buy a similar connector (female to the frame + male to the cable)?

It is.
But their "10" joystick is really just r-net under the new fancy plastic case. They are doing a permobil. But I have it on good authority that it can be replaced with an r-net CJSM2 for e.g. Not that it helps this question any!

I don't need control modules. I'm only asking about the magnetic connector. Mom is on the frame and dad is on the cable/cord.

On OttoBock Juvo B4 there is generally a VR-2 controller. But additionally there is a magnetic connector on the frame

Yes I know. But the only place you will get that is on their charger. Or by asking otto bock. Never saw anything like that elsewhere. At least nothing that will fit. A marvelous way to sell more chargers.

There are lots of magnetic computer charge connectors and even USB connectors. But not the same as your charger connector.

The closest I could see was the rosenberger connector.
Hard to find. And it looks a little different to yours.
I thought it was in your joystick? Photo too small...

https://www.rosenberger.com/product/ropd/

This is the product. Not sure where. Probably RS componants or similar online.

Search Rosenberger RoPD and take a look.
