4mm contacts. I have a bunch of them. Some were very unsteady and read fluctuating readings. Esp on small hobby packs. Switch cleaner not doing the trick.

So I ordered a 4mm wire brush. Total transformation. Those 4mm connectors on the PL8 get dirty!

Should you have a simlar issue reading resistance or fluctuating readings. Easy fix. Quick squirt of switch cleaner and hit it with the brush! Graphs are all dead smooth and precise again.

A rolled up piece of sandpaper may be more effective...

Or worse! This is cleaner and easy. Sandpaper may work too if you reach the right parts inside.

A thin sandpaper can work.

Burgerman, are the bristles stainless? I ordered some from a different supplier and only the handle was stainless when they t7rned up. Not aggressive enough for some of the manky connectors I have to clean and emery is too messy and fiddly.
