Programmer for D50770 - PGDT

Postby Safy » 03 Apr 2024, 00:50

Hi guys,

I have a PC mobility programmer here that I can use with D51272 controller from P&G, however; when I use it with an old model D50770 the software doesn't work. Is there a different version of the software or something like that? Someone once told me I need the programmer MK1 S-drive but I couldn't find it online.

Tks for your help

Those numbers are part numbers that refer to a lot of hings including stock part numbers that specify specific programming for various different chairs or scooters. They mean nothing to me. Its a bit like telling me an engine number instead of saying a ford small block V8.

To decide what it actually is we need the name of it that describes the family it is.

For e.g if it was a PG R-net controller hen it would be a specific R-Net power module. These are 90L or 120A etc. Or pilot plus, VR2, etc. Makes it easy to identify. Your "MK 1 Sdrive for e.g is what I am talking about. That describes what it actually is.

So what actually is it we are talking about here?

Both numbers are S-Drive units. The programmer should work on ALL S-Drives. There is no need for a different programmer. If it doesn't work the unit must have a defect. I figure you do have the unit powered when you are trying to program it?

You may be right. I know nothing about scooters. But there are some pg ones that do need a different programmer. Woodygb would know for sure I think.
