Nope, Have to open Hyperion Suite, click Bluetooth icon , select connect, then solid red light, close Hyperion, light stays solid, open Hyperion suite, light stats to flash. Won't stay connected. I think I will get a different Bluetooh and try again. This is what I have. The only one they had.

If it connects when you tell it too, then I suspect you still have something set wrong. Because it should automatically connect in around half a second. Does it work when you manually connect?

Is it in range? That may be an issue, some BT things are rubbish on range...

Is it showing ONE serial/bluetooth connection in device manager and ONE disabled connection?

It should only ask for password when you open hyperion software first time and not again, as this pairs it up.

You are doing something wrong. I think. Although it COULD be the BT dongle in your PC.

Two com ports , Com 10 - Disabled, Com 12 - enabled, sits next to computer, will work if manually connected , but after Hyperion starts, looses connection, then have to manually restart with Hyperion Suite open, then stays solid, close Hyperion , stays solid, reopen Hyperion , starts to flash when open. Have to manually re-connect.

Then I dont get it.

Did it ask for password on opening hyperion? Or did you supply one when you initially found new device?

Did you tick all four boxes in bluetooth settings screen?

Bm, FIXTED IT !!, After 3 days of screwing around and ordering 3 new Bluetooth on Ebay last night , I finally found the problem in the Bluetooth settings. There was a check mark in the box, unchecked it and everything works fine. Bm, Thanks so much for all your help anf great patience with me.

Well BM4 was about to be unpacked and re assembled, since its all done, seat and all. Months ago. But my wet room, bedroom, etc was getting rehashed. Now JUST as I start again my brother who fits bathrooms etc decided that his guys are at a loose end. No work. So now he will be here monday to move 2 walls, re plaster, re tile, refit new bathroom! Cant argue since its all rather "cheap" to put it mildly. So on hold AGAIN...

2 weeks from now he will be gone.

Then I can do the re assembly, (easy) and then the dificult but interesting stuff with the roboteq/RC/analog joystick, brakes, all at odd voltages with mini inverters, solid state relays, and scripts I dont understand! Yet.

Should be fun. And a little warmer. Need to get it done for april since traditionally I swap chairs and start another! But I have 4 now... And an old knackered battleaxe winter/mud/cleaning/mucky job one.

Bm, Bluetooth in device manager working, all 4 boxes checked, linvor installed in device manager, all ports disabled except # 10, Hyperion manual port setting #10. power on Hyperion light flashing. Does the Hyperion light continue to flash until the Hyperion is turned on and charging ?

If everything is set up correctly, and charger, computer etc have all been restarted since, it will flash right up until the BT version of the program starts. As soon as that happens it will stop flashing and connect. It will ask for the password 1234 first time only.

If this isnt happening you have something wrong.

Try a different serial port number.

You did disable the "extra" port in the device manager? Not delete, but disable?

And you added it as no serial or code?

So that windows asks for it when the hyperion software starts? Then use 1234...?

When you get all correct, restart charger, PC, program, and it will work... Well it does here! On my laptop, and PC and 3 chargers (at once or on any computer individually)

Make sure its not a range issue. Or some serial port sharing issue.

let me tell you what i use
Windows 7 home and HP laptop
this the module http://www.sunsky-online.com/product/de ... .id=213421

i bought 2 modules

1)i start the charger
2)search for BT from laptop
3)no pass
4)windows start to install 2 COM ports
5)disable the second installed port
6) i added 2 commands in short cut BT MANUAL
7)restart charger > start program
8)asking for the pass > i give the pass
9)give the correst COM port
10)restart program

opening the app... Now the bluetooth turn Solid Red.. i cross my fingers , when app opens Led blinks again...!

yesterday i try 2 different things
1) i start a Virtual PC with Windows XP and this didnt work either,
2) i close the internal Laptop BT and added a external usb Bluetooth again nothing...!!!
the only thing i manage is from windows XP i clicked to connect into the Hyperion from BT manager, and i connected successfully (Led Solid)
after that i start the app and again the led start blink!!!

There are 2 possibilities
1) the first time i solder the TX/RX of BT To the right side of the SMD transistor , when i saw the photos better i swap them to left side
2)a setting or something

Easier than you think. The connecting plug can be reconfigured easily. Just swap the tx/rx around in the plug connector.

Where are you selecting these ports?

Inside the hyperion program? Then it doesent make much difference. It searches when the prgram starts anyway.
