f55 frame details

Postby walland67 » 06 Nov 2012, 00:09

I have been asked by a powerchair user to build a chair similar to the f55 mk3.
Being in Australia is not such a problem because parts are available on the net,
however I am finding it hard to get a frame here and freight from overseas could be expensive.
I am considering fabricating a frame and would like some basic dimensions like tube diameter,
height of frame at rear to floor, height of front castor tube to floor and length of frame from front of castor tube to
rear of rear bar.
Thanks in anticipation.

F55 is available in australia, south africa, NZ, UK, AND a few other places.

But I only used that as a base because I already had one. What is important is that motors/wheel and tyres types/sizes, and seating positions, controller and batteries and motors are all correct and in the right places. Non of which are stock f55 anyway. So it wouldnt much mater what you use.

There are a few around over here but you don't get them for $500!
If you are in Brisbane you could come measure my frame.
