The cheapie cable has the CH340

I was able to see with the Logic Analyzer that the reason the CH340 chip / cable will not work is that the signal is ( invereted or non inverted ) opposite to what is needed.
...but only on one wire, the other is ok.
It was quite a while ago, divorce, new meds, better brain function has meant getting out in the community for the first time in 13 years and catching up on what has changed in my local community. Its been fantastic but also meant that the 'orange adapter' has been sitting on the desk in front of me being de prioritized.
Building this Mash up at the moment to try and loose some weight from sitting around (and eating to much).

I have tried to construct the interface from Anubis (with help from the postings from woodygb) for modifying the settings of my wife's powerchair: a 3-wheel Excel Galaxy II, with a Rhino 2 160A controller.
The Wizard software does not find any controller, it keeps on scanning a number of addresses (visible in the lower, right hand side).
I checked, double checked and triple checked the Anubis schematic, should be allright.
Did buy a cheapo CH340 interface:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1PCS-CH340G-US ... 3584647710.
I did all the wire-work, connection is via the 4-pin mini-fit Molex on the controller.
Tips concerning debugging would be helpful, what to check? (and yes, I did order a Logic Analyzer today
)

Erik, per my notes above, you need the other Cable per Woody's advice.
I have a factory orange adapter, and the cheap CH340 cable wont work with it either.
With the logic analyzer i was able to compare the output of the CH340 and the factory cable and the signals are (inverted or non inverted) to what they need to be.
Anubus's board should be able to be tapped (as he has a signal inverter as part of the board...i think) but i have not had the time to investigate.
