I've just switched on my, mostly built, chair and got 9 flashing lights. Diagnostics confirmed 'right solenoid brake' fault. Code 1506. :x
Last week I quickly plugged in the old (obsolete) electrics to test the motors, and the left wheel moved but then it stopped and 9 lights flashed. So I've been hoping that it was the old electrics that were at fault.
I've just swapped the motor cables over to see if it would give a 'left solenoid brake' fault (code 1505) but it still said 'right'. :o
(The wires that tell the module that it is in free-wheel mode are not connected, like on the working chair.)

So I've now got to take the r.h.s motor off this chair and plug it into the working chair to confirm the faulty motor. Unless you can think of a better plan?

Stick 12v to the motor brake and see if it works...

I suspect that you have an open curcuit on the brake wiring (like on the free wheel lever thingy. I dont ever wire that up. Just brake wires all the way to the brakes.

If it doesent click then the brake is faulty. Test on ohms with a multi meter.

added... brakes dont even die if you rin them on 24v they just get hot. But dont! :D

The brake.

Its a fault in either the brake, the wiring or the controller. You can test the brake with one battery. You can test the wiring by using a multimeter. And if both are good then you have a controller fault.

Yep, I was being thick and overreacting again. I can now here the beautiful sound of motors/brakes working. :D

Your help is invaluable John. Thanks a million!

(Now getter error 1E03 'charger connected'. Which I will ignore because the programmer is connected.)

To do:
Fix switches and andersons to frame and connect to actuators/batteries.
Put seat etc. back on and adjust.
Test drive.
