350-8 tire is wider than a 90/90 - 8 tire - the most i can use is a 350-8 what ever that is in metric - using stock rims here - so not as wide as it should be for that size tire but works fine - with no complications - no extra hubs or adapters etc,

i found another 350-8 tire - which i never found before - but no one sells it

A 3.5 inch wide tyre is 88.9mm Thats a credit card thickness difference, 1.1mm narrower. Tyres vary by more due to pressure...

Wait so your saying a 90 /90 tire is wider than a 350-8 tire ? it just dosnt seem that way in real life with the tires - i dont have a 90/90 tire here - i will get one the Hooper which is shown in pictures as 300-8 or 90/90 i believed its the same size just one is metric - only way i will know for sure is when i get one in my hands and put it side to side with the 350-8 tires i have already new on rims -

i will bet the 90/90 or 300-8 will be thinner width - the difference is 3.1 inches wide for 90/90 or 300-8 - vs 3.5 inch wide - not much difference on paper - but in person it will be noticed

No, I am saying they are the almost exactly identical. So close that it would be hard to measure. 1mm narrower...

A 3.00 tyre is 3 inches wide. Thats exactly 76.2mm
A 3.50 tyre is 3.5 wide. Thats exactly 88.9mm
A 90mm wide tyre is obviously 90mm so is 1.1mm wider. Thats the thickness of your finger nail.

A 90/90 is just fractionally over 3.5 inches wide then. But its overall diameter is 90% of its width. So its very close to the stock outer diameter of the 3.00 tyre.

Theres only so many ways to explain this! Betting doesent enter into it.

Agreed in terms of NOMINAL sizes, but I see considerable difference in some cases between the 'nominal' size printed on the tire sidewall, and the ACTUAL measured size of the tire....

In a specific case, that is possibly relevant to a lot of us, is the 'hospital gray' foam filled Primo 3.00x8 tires that are used by a lot of manufacturers as their 'stock' tire... I've measured a few, and every one has been considerably SMALLER - closer to 2.75 x 8... Granted they have been used tires, but not heavily worn (which might change the OD, but not the width either way) This means that the step up to a 3.50x8 is bigger than the nominal sizes suggest...

Thats only usually true on mobility rims which tend to be undersized and the correct size for 2.50 tyres... The rim needs to be 2.5 to 2.75 wide for a 3.00 tyre. Mobility ones seldom are. Many are 1.75, 2.00 instead.

Possibly true, but these were also foam-fill, so pretty much fixed in size... Either way it doesn't make a lot of difference as to why the tire is undersized fro both width and OD, as it does just to take it into account when planning any mods, that the change might be more than one would expect...

Bluetooth functionality you need to program, then this is done slightly differently.
First of all, you need to ensure one of the modes is set for Bluetooth, and this mode is enabled in the profile you are using

If you open a DEALER level file, from your desktop, with OEM programmer and save it as a new file, then that file becomes an OEM level file. So now reopen it, and you can edit it.

You are not listening.

1. Download the SETTINGS PROFILE to the desktop. Call it dealer_settings or whatever you want.

2. Close all software. Disconnect the dongle. Its not needed for the next step.

3. Now OPEN the OEM level software, and then open the file: dealer_settings.

4. Dont change anything. SAVE that file to the desktop and call it OEM_settings (any name you wish!) and close all software. That is now an OEM level file.

5. Now OPEN that file with the OEM software. It will allow you to edit OEM level parameters and it lets you write that file WITH the OEM changes to the desktop.

Now just load that file to the chair. In the same way you saved it to the desktop. You can use dealer dongle and dealer software. It will write the file to the chair complete with OEM modifications.

Hi all,

I am a tech from Australia and recently started my own company.
I no longer have programming gear so I have to source my own. I have access to the dealer dongle and I read here you guys have a way around getting OEM access which is obviously what I need.
I assume your US version will be the same as our version. The prominent chair I work on is Magic Mobility and Quickie/Sunrise.
Im not sure if I need to have the dongle first but I thought I would put it out there first to see if you guys can help before I purchased the dongle.
I can purchase the dongle direct from sunrise or a aftermarket guy who sells all the electronics.

Thank you kindly

If you have the Dealer level Dongle then there is a work around with the OEM software .
