You can also get BT modules that plug into a bus cable. And you can have two if you want. But again not cheap and an add on option. So unless you specified a BT joystick, or a BT module then you likely dont have BT. You DO definitely have IR or infra red though on all CJSM2. That can control any infra red device like light switches, TVs, set top boxes, etc.

Ok, I see. But, my order form said CJSM2-BT, so it has IR etc., built in, right?

Yes that has both BT and IR.

Omni 2 gets Bluetooth as standard also.

You can no longer buy the stand alone Bluetooth modules new, used only.

Unless you can get the original settings file from Permobil, you're pretty much screwed due to their proprietary firmware/software.

Permobil no sorry. Permobil go out of their way to do their own thing, and use "compatible" R-net seating, gyro and stability modules and even cut down cheap versions of the CJSM2 joystick with a duller smaller screen with 2 buttons missing. So you are FORCED to rely on them due to very poor generic R-Net compatibility. They also make their own switch box that does not just connect to the r-net bus like the switch it ones, (so easily programmed with the R-net programmer, but it connects to their own large box of seating stuff... That even they seem unable to fix. They also use the proper R-net CJSM2 on some chairs too that have incompatible firmware.

So you might be lucky and might not. On some settings and be missing others. If you use the sunrise or generic OEM software you may be able to adjust some of the options. Others will be missing. And sometimes it wont let you load a settings profile or make changes at all. So basically dont buy permobil unless you like relying on others that dont seem able to fix their own system. And especially want oem access for youself. Personaly its a deal breaker for me. I wouldnt buy pride, or permobil for the exact same reasons.

If you're ordering from PSS, make sure they're sending you a boxed new one. Otherwise say you'll go through Paypal/Credit card for a full refund which they don't want you to do. I got 50% off because the dongle had been used and is all scuffed on the back of it.

If you give them grief or threaten to do anything they will just refuse to supply. Too much trouble/risk.

Just did a quick test yesterday, the dongle's red power LED lit up when plugged into USB hub and I get the green LED come on when I run the programming software. Haven't tried plugging it into one of my chairs yet but will be doing that on Tuesday when Melissa is here.

There isnt one is there?

Only the service tool?

What are you missing out on? All the OEM settings. But if you use the OEM tool to enable OBP you have all the dealer settings built into to joystick.

There's the old dealer DTT or the newer wireless programmer that's a half way house between dealer and oem.

Is there a list of what it can do extra anywhere?

If it can remove the abs walls and tweak compensation it might beall most users will ever need.

Hi.
At first, sorry for my English, I'm from Poland.
My wheelchair is meyra optimus 2 with r-net cjsm BT.
I have a problem with too sensitivity steering servo. Meyra servis send me program "Setup_OEM_Sunrise_EU_6_3_0" version, but there is no option to change the steering servo settings. I need the OEM version that will change settings of the steering sensitivity.
