All software works with both dongle levels. At the lowest of whichever is the lowest... OEM needs both soft, and dongle at OEM level.

Yes, you can program OEM settings with a Dealer dongle as I've helped expresso and a few others do this. :)

Where can I get an R-Net dongle type B?
or can you simulate and simulate something like this with a mini computer "Adurino"?

The manufacturers dont want us to have OEM level programming tools. They dont even want dealers to have them. Some manufacturers even deny they exist. Which means most people are suffering unusable, unsteerabe, locked down wheelchairs or cannot reconfigure or sort out things that they wish to do. Why? Because they presume that we are all idiots. And they presume that the manufacturers know best. It seems that in most cases the opposite is true.

You can search for the powerchair soccer site. They will sell you a programmer, but not cheap, and you will likely pay customs charges if you are not in the US.

Do you have to rewire your motors or anything for that swap? I’d like to upgrade my current Pilot+ setup as well and was looking at the 120A R-Net.

Nope, as the Pilot+ and R-Net uses the same battery and motor plugs. Just make sure the R-Net settings are correct!

Sweet! I thought they looked similar looking at pics. That’s awesome. Now I need to source some parts. I read the post earlier that someone purchased directly from P&G , but when I emailed them they said they don’t sell directly to consumers?

That would be me, as I managed to get the battery and motor connector kits directly from PGDT. I just said to them my motors needed new plugs and I needed to make a new battery cable to the PM and PGDT sold me the required kits. I did also mention that I rebuild my chairs, so new parts are needed.

Good to know! Maybe I’ll try that angle if I can’t find a used set.

It's worth a try! The first time I tried to get the connector kits I was told the same thing, but the second time I mentioned that I rebuild my chairs, PGDT sold them to me without any hassle.

Well I tried, no luck. They still said they don’t sell direct. They gave me contact info to their distributor who has yet to respond to my request for prices and availability.

Guess it depends on which person you get, as one tells you you can't buy them directly and another have no problems selling you the kits. :?

So with the available R-Net programming software mentioned in this thread, if I buy an R-Net controller, joystick etc. online, will I be able to program everything to work with my motors etc?

The rnet requires a dongle. That is essential. And its in 2 versions. Dealer (very basic) or OEM (what we need!) and they wont easily sell us OEM... But theres a way.

I e-mailed both times since I'm unable to use the phone.

Hi,

The TV can be switched on with joystick. But media is connected through a set top box and the HDMI
output from it goes to TV.The channels are changed from set top box with remote. Here the set top box does not
respond to joystick though I configured it as CABLE/SATELLITE. :problem:

Well that depends on your specific cable box and its remote. You may need to teach it the commands. Which is a pain in the backside. But once done should be fine. As a different device obviously.

Is there separate Rnet ICS module PC programming software? I was able to find the programming manual for the ICS, but the ICS isn't sshowing up on the Dealer or OEM pc software. Does it have to be unlocked in some way?

Theres a seperate bit of software called something builder. But I doubt thats the error codes you see. And no we dont have that. Its why I wouldnt buy a permobil. And the fact that they only do mid/front drive now!

In the SUNRISE OEM theres a section in seating specifically for them. I presume that the permobil OEM will be the same. Not sure if this is related to the module you are talking about or not. No idea how that permobil ICS thingy works. But other manufacturers do something similar on certain chair options. But non I ever played with. Rover may know?

My programmer shows ISM and SM, but no ICS. Mine is definitely an ISM. Maybe someone will chime in with the answer...

You will not see the ICS settings below, unless using the OEM Permobil version of the R-Net software. In the same way that you see Sunrises special customization in the sunrise version, with very similar settings.

The actual stuff you will see is dependent on whatever they did with their ICS and their Permobil branded "Wheelchair Builder" software. Are you using Permobils R-net software? The generic, or Sunrise versions will not see the ICS thingy or its settings. That is custom software to permobil only.

I have several versions of the programmer. All my OEM versions may be generic.

Got an Permobil OEM version?
