However, assuming most of what's on this list is available in the USA, I'd say I would be suck between the Sunrise quick S646, the Salsa R2, and the Invacare Storm 3G Ranger X... (Although I saw that the storm 4 came out. is that any good? and what of the Pride Quantum list? I saw that they were one of the fastest Powerchairs available, but none from that company made it on this list, so I bet their methods of nazi walling the OEM are so good, they steered clear of the list, yet, still curious.)
Theres a LOT of rear drive chairs in the EU/UK/rest of world. For some reason they are not available in the US. You have almost no choices for RD there.
Why that is baffles me. The salsa in your list is by far the best option, and I have one. But again not available in the USA. The old S646 and similar derivatives are decades old designs and belong in a museum. Those were replaced by more modern chairs at sunrise with 4 generations of newer chairs, again not in the UK. The storm 4 explore again and a few previous generations of chairs wasnt sold in the US either, and I had one of those storm 4 explore too... Theres the Ottobock Juvo chairs too. Again not sold in the US?
The rear drive version of the V6 is called the V4 in most of the world. And was taken over by sunrise and is built in australia. Not sure if thats available in the US but its not on your insurance options I am told on here.
So you are basically left with the middle of the road invacare chair which unfortunately has Linx controls, or the pride rear drive which has a similar issue with no OEM level programming tools available either.
I do not know what I would do in the US. Probably buy one of those 2 and swap their control systems for r-net. And fit lithium. Or cough up and pay out of pocket for the V4. Manufacturer
