yes thats true and thats how 95% of users feel about there stock chairs -

But what works for one dosnt always work for another so - all you can do is put it out there and each users would need to figure it out on there own what works best for them - like i am doing now - i can only do so much but still makes a difference i can feel - i can feel when its worse and when its better with the changes -

who knows when i ever get my new chair - thats going to be another project chair if i dont get lithium with it - then its going to be converted soon after i get it - along with who knows what else i need to adjust - - not thinking about it - paying attention to my Main chair which i use 99% of the time in the summer

i have no problem using it as it is if i had too - so i am not stuck - but anything to make it that much better only helps

i made the tremor changes - i put it to 25% and put the FWD settings back to Zero - so its RWD 100% now -

i also maybe found the turtle settings - band 2 was for the lift and band 1 for the tilt - they were both set to 25% -

i put the lift to 50% so even though the turtle shows up right away - it should be twice as fast now - i have yet to sit in it to test if it worked

That programmer helps you if you investigate a few of its options no? Did you watch motor amps/volts as you move it about a few inches? And battery current/volts? Thats interesting too!

Tremor at 50 may be a bit extreme! You need to sit in a chair while adjusting these things, and give the joystick a wiggle. It may feel too dead.

50% is not the tremor - thats the speed of the chair with the seat lift up in turtle mode - if i am correct - i havnt tested it yet -


tremor i put it at 25% - havnt used the chair yet - maybe later after i add more PSI in the front tire and less in the Rear - i can take a spin up and down my hall way - wont give me much feedback this way - will have to wait till i go outside but i like to see if i did in fact make it faster in turtle mode when seat is lifted

I hope with Springtime coming that there are a lot more videos posted on this thread. I've watched all of them so far.

No, this road is empty. It cannot be dangerous

Other roads are really dangerous, some are plenty of container trucks. I thought about fitting a rearview mirror but gave up The problem is that the joystick is actually on the left and the mirror must be on the left too. I have not found a good position to fit it. Another problem is that doors here are narrow, just about 70cm. So, the mirror should be compact and detachable <= I have not found it neither

Depends what you are used to. I was looking at it thinking that road looks really safe.

You can buy bicycle mirrors which are detachable although I do not know how durable one will be if you keep taking it on and off.

As a car/van driver since 17 (now 58) I realise how easy it is to hit an unexpectedly slow vehicle if you come up behind at speed while watching one coming towards you in the other direction. Its at the last second you understand quite how slow they are moving. And you cant pull out to overtake till the opposite traffic is clear. Then suddenly you have to brake hard or try to pass without enough room. And its worse the bigger the vehicle. Trust me you are in much more danger than you seem to think.

I too have driven since 17 and understand what it is like to come upon something by surprise that you have to avoid but I was comparing it to what I am normally having to cope with while out in my chair. Either the country lanes around here, where you are up against people driving like Colin McRae when they can't see very far ahead due to the hedges, or central London, where literally everyone is trying to kill you! The road in that video has much clearer visibility than I'm used to and relatively little traffic.

I know you mean the horn Drivers here (both cars and bikes) usually abuse horn. But it is very popular in VN roads and we see it is normal. I hear people say that it only happens in VN. In the rest of the world if anyone abuses horn, they would be accused being impolite or having ... mental issues.

The "finger salute" is in opposite unpopular here, people simply do not know what it means. Many westerners travel to Vietnam. They usually buy a cheap bike in Saigon (in the South), drive 2.000km to Hanoi (in the North), then resell it to another who will drive from North to South. On the roads they appear very nervous and upset when hearing loud horn from cars, especially big trucks. And they usually give "finger salute" to the drivers. That looks funny. But maybe the VN drivers do not understand it, they just give friendly smiles back to foreigners

Yes, I recorded whole trips. I had to buy a new 128G card that would allow 9hrs continuous recording at 1080p@60fps. My last trip is 84km and has total 83G videos, most of them are tedious. Roads here are dirty and rubbish is everywhere. You would not like them

thats amazing your getting such long trips distance with your chair - you can never go back to lead now thats about 52 Miles - !!!! how long does it take to complete that - what time do you start leave your house and what time do you get back ?

do you stop at all or just ride - i want to try for 50 miles myself this summer just to see - most i done is 44 miles and not easy to do - i will try going 25 miles one way and then back same way - i only have 135ah total - but i think your chair is much lighter than mines - did you also change your tires ? larger in the rear or same size just black ?

My yesterday trip was 92.5km/114Ah. I had to pass a 5km bad road so the chair consumed more power than normal. I think this 150Ah pack would be safe for the 120km range if roads are relatively good.

I stop sometime if seeing something interesting or talking with local people. The total stopping time is usually about a hour. The first time I drove 83km, it was very hard. That's because I did not prepare well for a long trip. Now I know the way to cope it. That's simple. Just eating and drinking as much as possible before going out. And putting a oresol bottle + 2 red bull cans in the bag. I can drive continuously in a whole day. I like the feeling of moving and when moving I can breath more easily. Seriously, I start feeling that I need more than 150Ah

Might be wise to get a set of spare motors in stock, and check brushes every 6 months if you are going to do that distance every day. I have bought used chairs on ebay that have done 25 hours... Although indoor use is normally more harmful.

Cool - you can make a ADD ON and hang that on your chair if you want more - 45ah ADD ON - you wont come home for two days

This was the second time I went in this road. The first time I hit it, I had to give up and returned home. It is too dangerous because I have to share the road with container trucks. They even race, sometimes they are very close to me. I feel a force that pulls me towards the ... truck

be careful snaker - i know i have to be a bit more myself - i actually almost went head on the other day - i have it on video - my bad - i was focused on something else didnt realize cars can come my way - and one did - every so often i get one of these moments - i have to try to reduce the times though - not good -

other that this one time - i been ok for the most part - besides the first crash but that was not with cars - could have ended must worse than it did - and i was shaken a bit at the time - i learned then to slow it down in that area -

True that doesent exist in most places now!

Some of those have twin engines
And some are off road versions!

There is still a rag-and-bone man going round collecting scrap locally with a horse drawn cart but apart from that I don't see working animals very often at all. Most horses seem to be expensive toys and I don't think I've ever seen anything else pulling a cart like an ox.
