well i believe you should be able to get a bounder now with medicare - its the 300M - you would have to upgrade the sprocket to get the speed etc, - maybe electronics also but if 6mph is Ok for you you wont have to touch it - not sure if lithium is included with the medicare version - if not - i would just make my own and fit double in there anyway.

With your choosen? roads you might be better off with an X5 or V6 or the rear drive V4 as its called here in the UK. If you can get hold of one.

Nice to see someone out and about  Although gave up on Bogey Lane right before it gets a lot easier.

Seem to be making good progress along smooth tarmac - what speed are your motors?

If you went down Shire Lane to get to Farthing Street I'm surprised you aren't splattered across the front of someone's vehicle. Really not safe. And never ask directions from a woman, they will always send you the wrong way!

Hmm! Sexist
But personally I could get lost even if I knew where I was going and had been there before
Mind The Gap wrote:Hi All. New video. Getting stuck.

I didn't see any place i recognised in the video's. Thank you for sharing. I like the mirror, the speed of your chair, and the graphic language. But the camera doesn't see why you get stuck. or where. I notice you travel close to the left, mention about the bumps and wonder why aren't you travelling in the middle? As the highway code implies that you can use the entire lane of a single carriage way/single lane, same as a cyclist. I get why you move out of the way of cars.
You ever think about screen grabbing/screenshot of a map or photograph for your phone prior to journey?

Thanks for your comments. I stick to the left for safety reasons as cars etc can come up behind you very fast. Also I'm not in a big hurry or want to antagonise other road users. The place I got stuck was near the William Wilberforce tree Keston and thought I would take the path to Downe Rd just around the corner from Charles Darwin's house. What you can't see is how steep the camber is because of the Gimbal keeping the Gopro straight. Eventually got to the other end to find the gate to narrow. Was stuck there for about 15/20 mins before nice chap from Jack Frost Pet and Country Store came and helped me. Got to try these things otherwise you will never know if you can do it.

Take on board your comment regarding map, good point.

Regards Paul

I absolutely luv the english countryside, villages & nature, makes me go all gooey inside :admirer . Is Keston out Essex way? Apparently essex is a beautiful county but it's awkward to get to form where I live as it means crossing london or risking m25, arghhhh nightmare, runaway!!!

Burgerman wrote:Its green because it rains often
That's what I don't like about spain, etc. You can have a lovely villa in the hills but the view is just dry scrub land. I'd like greenery but no rain.

No, I don't have. I tried to fit a small bike mirror but it was useless. A bigger motorbike mirror might work but I do not find a good position to fit it.

I took to the road and wheel on side of it often, and find driving mirrors very helpful to keep sn eye on traffic from behind .

Crispy clear concave mirror in metal chassis , with adjustable joints. Foldable with return positions .

Irresistible price @£3 a pair .

I am afraid that 8cm diameter is still small. I prefer the bigger one 15cm like in the link below.
