Not really.

You could use a 2S or 3S hobby pack, lipo. Or 4 to 8s Nickel Metal hydride like eneloop, Charge with the PL8 in both cases.

But why bother if you are sitting on two massive batteries?

The only problem I see is if you can’t open manually every time you take off your going to get urine all over place. All you could do is have caregivers cup it but then it would have to be stationary and couldn’t put around ankle. I emailed company to see if you can open manually.
