In car charging wheel chair

Postby Kerrera » 11 Oct 2017, 12:47

I'm waiting for my new wheelchair to arrive - it's a lithiam battery one.
Airwheel-H3

I'm thinking about charging options - would one of those in car inverters that plug into cigarette lighter point to 240 v ( normal 3 pin plug not sure that's right voltage) work for charging the wheelchair when I'm driving?

My new place has steps and getting my chair in and out isn't easy so thinking about options..

Thanks

What battery does this chair have? And what ius its charger?

Its completely peverse to step up the cars 12V system to 240V and then back down again to the voltage your chair needs. So it may be posible (details matter) but there may be a better way.
