None should. Mine always seem to from HK though. Luck of the draw!

Either way, its cheaper than the cheaply made manson one, and is 5 times as powerful!

By mod, he means that it will be ready to use.

That is not includuing a fancy case thst I also ordered. That case isnt required, and if you dont know what you are doing will frighten you! Its actually very nicely made, and easy to do, everything fits perfectly.

Also here. In theory... But about 85% seem to escape if from china or hong kong. Or austaralia, etc.
And none ever escape from the US.

So what, even if they catch you, still really, really cheap for a 3k watt power supply/charger!

Time for me to resume this project. I see how the new case fits together fairly easily. But I'm hesitant taking the one it came with off because I'm afraid I'll break something. I need to plow ahead anyway.

I know I won't be keeping all the bits on the back end anyway. But how do I remove them w/o busting them off. Or is that what I need to do?

Its the AC input bracket thingy that also has the DC output terminals. Whats the best way to remove?

Busting things off!

No... EVERYTHING unscrews. Look under the case. 2 SQUARE HOLES. Two screws hold the main power wires. Undo those as well, and 110/240v wires from top and remove in a calm easy fashion! Seriously you wont break anything. The more you undo the better it gets. And the easier it becomes. Unplug and dissasemble everything.

Notes.
Before adding you new DC wires with ring terminals to the main output, fit them to the board. Leave over long. I used silicone, cables from ebay, in SWG 10. Because those two access holes are absent on the new case. I had to take apart again! :fencing I soldered the front connectors, only because, no ring terminals!

Add the new board mount standoffs just by looking inside the old case before you throw it away. Theres one unused, and one that needs two brass ones screwed together. The rest is meccanno!

You may need to fit 2 slim pot washers, when fitting the display or it will not line up properly. Other than that its a first time, 2 hour job. Inc fitting the anderson. The anderson has 4 wires. Supply from board, and the feed to the front 4mm connectors.

Got the screws removed from the two square holes that led to the main power. Not sure where the AC input screws are. Front half of the case wants to come apart. Something still holding back of shell together.

On top of the top board... Unscrew everything. Cut the wires if you want, you throw all that away. But it does unscrew!

Dont over analyse, take it all apart. Then assemble with loose screws everywhere while you rebuild 6 times as things click. Case sides short screws.Heatsinks longer screws. Oil the screws... And add power cables before adding board! Find 2 pot washers. Unplug LED board. Throw away the front fan screen... Dont rush, order terminals, cable, etc ebay and wait!

And stainless m4 countersunk screws, self tap into andersons perfectly. Ebay... About 12mm long?

Been playing with the new case a bit now that the old one is apart. Seems to fit together a bit like a puzzle. I have 10 AWG silicon cable for the main DC power output. What size should I use for the front outputs? Also, what wire size for the AC power input?

Appreciate the tips! cheers

AC? Same as power cord. Whatever you use in the US for 110 at max power? Used 4mmsq because I had it, oversized though.

Front connectors need 10awg too. Unless you fit a smaller wire and a fuse to match. Earth can be smaller.

One last question.

The power supply is capable of working at 3000w

Can the power supply be regulated to work only at 150w?
