In my street. A small town, cheap property part of the country.

Houses range from 165k to 350k in this street. Considerably cheaper elsewhere in this town.

According to last census 3 are rented out. 4 have mortgages. 21 are paid in full and owned outright.
There are zero non white native people.
There are zero households out of work unless retired or disabled, and there are a very high proportion (approx 60%) of self employed or high level management jobs. I fish seller with a van (self employed)!

There are approx 45% retired.
There is 1 disabled (me!)
There are several parks, colleges, pubs, schools within .5 mile.
Its 1 mile from town centre, trains, etc.
Its 200 metres from a bus stop. (hateful things).
4 miles from the sea.
http://www.wheelchairdriver.com/gopro/s ... uality.mp4 Low res copy, might play direct. Very green part of the town. Turn volume down a bit...

Well its a communistic bully that rules in totalitarian fashion. It also tries to bully other countries. As well as its citizens. Its always hated a free HK on its doorstep. It cant bear to see a free people with rights, and a capitalist success that it thinks it should own and control and its going to take several other places like taiwan.

Biscuit - he was talking 1m pounds. See the post. He used a massive brown £ sign! That will not buy much in our multicultural left wing shit hole capital, but in this ex fishing town destroyed by the EUs common fisheries policy it certainly will!

But he doesent like the cold or the rain! Doesent always rain! Look at the vid.
Joke. How do you know when its summer? The rain is warmer.

I absorb the recent price increase , so selling with old price tag.

Let me know.

Think Shirley sold the last aluminium cased one to Steve above your post Martin. Unless you can do the case mod yourself, then only the stock modded ZXD2400 PSUs are available I believe. But Shirley might not be shipping anything at the moment due to the riots in HK.

I think you should have got one while they were easily available and stupidly cheap. But even now, well worth it!

Thank you Shirley :clap
The slow boat from China arrived a week ago :dance and our custom service has taken the last week to work out what it was and decide that I could have it :fencing but at last my new power supply has arrived - I've only just got around to putting the anderson connector on the one I got from Steve but now I know how to do it, so since it is raining like it means it, I may as well do this one now.
Delighted to have a back up system all ready to go. :worship
just a comment on the anderson - it works fine but I did notice that the leads built into the PL8 did get a bit warm running at 40 A so I've taken my charging back down to 25A just to be safe :bounce
Cheers

.
Thxs for the link Steves...https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000385493813.html

This item is the ZDX with the mods already done to change it from a bulk power supply to a 3 stage charger satisfactory for lead acid? As well as an adjustable power supply.
No mods needed other than connectors of choice?

The video (on the link) shows the plain style case as they look before adding the charger modifications. It is probably
clear to others but I couldn't follow the readings on the ZDX during the demo on the video to understand what he was demonstrating.

Guys i'm getting a bad rotten egg / sulfur odor from the Salsa r2 two original 60 Ah BATTERY ETERNITY G 04 12 055 whilst charging! Also they loss charge immediately after a charge.
Have I damaged a cell beyond a recovery even with a deep long charge with this charger at
"12A
,28.20V
.3A
27.0V" over a week or am I wasting my time [the smell indoors is killing me] so should think about Lithium replacement mod?

Sounds like the batteries are long past their end of life. There should never be any smell at all.

You are charging 2 batteries in series right? Not a single battery? And not 2 in parallel?

Because it sounds like you either have TOTALLY destroyed batteries in series, as fitted in a chair. Or that you are charging them at way too high voltage either on their own, or as a pair in PARALLEL. If you do that the voltages needed to be 14.1V and 13.5V float. And also if you did that then the batteries are now ruined...

OK im not sure so i'm doing a diagram. Before the sulphur smell i had to use the original charger due to not having enough ZXD2400 for the 4 chairs I had but I thought I'd get away with it as I wasn't using this one much until now. Anyway the losing charge immediately was happening on the original charger so only today I wired the ZXD2400 up causing the issue if I've messed up the voltage or orientation that my diagram shows. Either way sounds like they on there way out before my poss bad wiring.

May be. But a battery voltage of 16 displayed while charging at 12A says you are charging a 12V setup. Either in parallel or as individual batteries. That could end with a battery explosion. So turn it off and be sure you are both correctly wired, and then throw tham away!

Are they out of the chair?

The rotten egg odor is probably H2S

Sulfuric acid contains sulfur, and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is a possible by-product of over-charging and battery decomposition...........Overcharging, especially if the battery is old, heavily corroded or damaged can produce H2S. Deteriorated, old or damaged lead acid batteries should be removed from service, as damaged batteries are much more likely to be associated with production of H2S.

ok thx, I thought GEL's were safer even if i screwed up.....bet my wiring shows I connected the ZXD2400 wrong but these were not holding a charge even before i wired up the ZXD wrong so they must have been on the way out anyway.
