You need 10 inch groove forks first.

You can use any 4 inch rims. Cart /minibike rims, or rims from any sunrise/quickie chair like the F55, 45, Salsa, Jive, etc. And other makes too. Also wind or long board surfing rims, in plastic (black nylon) work well.

I have been using injection-molded mountain board caster wheels on Rachi's chair since 2011. They are MBS TriSpoke and were bought for E51.17 from an Italian dealer for a set of four without bearings. They are no longer in the MBS parts lists, but there is a Primo Tri-spoke going for E18.00 each from the same dealer. Just be sure that the description says can mount 8 or 9" tires (and not just 8"). MBS currently has a cheap 5-spoke wheel that will fit 8 or 9", but in white only. Google for "mountainboard hubs" and you will find UK suppliers.

Those mbs wheels look ok real shame they are white, even a pair of wheelchair wheels to fit my tires would be ok they will only get wrecked

The Primo are black, look to be very husky and aren't particularly expensive.

These will take 12 mm bore, 28 mm OD bearings, so your axle should be 12 mm. You may need to make a spacer to set between the two bearings to avoid putting a side load on the inner races when you tighten the axle. Do use sealed, stainless bearings.

Hi all, i fitted the primo rims and 300 x 4 tyres but the tyres rub the forks. They do not free wheel!

I have a quickie groove and i wonder if my front forks are just a bit narrower? Than the jive/salsa im sure i have the Bigger forks if not they wouldnt fit at all?

I have attached a picture of the offending tyre.

I have the same size tyres as you bm, How much gap do you have?
I dont really want to drive it around as although i know it will probably rub the tyre away i know it will be a bodge.

Does anyone know roughly how much a set of jive/salsa forks are?

Steve, can you measure the width of your tire? They look slightly narrower than the henidu ones. My tyres do turn by hand but rub for sure i probably only need a few mm.

Sure, I'll get my Brother to measure them tomorrow evening when he's here. My forks are the 10 inch ones.
