Lol lucky engineers aim for that... Nothing they do is simple for the rest of us poor mortals.

Thats not a failing of the engineering.

For eg I get DOZENS of emails wanting lithium without the thinking part. Sorry but its not possible. At least not if you want the reliability, range benefits and cost benefit possible. Otherwise yes, theres lots of plug and play solutions. That wont offer you any of the above!

Not everything can be dumbed down to the easy plug and play solution everyone wants.

90AH EVE cell (92AH claimed)

They are all showed on taobao. The prices are just a little higher than taobao. Maybe the seller imported them by huge load. They also offer building packs (with BMS) for free.

16 of those 90Ah cells (conversion to us dollars of $40.88 each) would be about $656.00 for a 180 Ah pack. Pretty simple layout with all the terminals on top, I like this. :D

I think so .

Its been quite some time now , since I spotted it , and the better ones usually went first .

I might get 16 LF90 , because I know the seller well . He shall response if the batteries have problems .

Originally I can fit two of these batteries side by side with a few mm to spare all round... https://www.mobilitybatterystore.co.uk/ ... m-battery/

Now I have a 8S5P pack in the same space giving me a 75Ah pack using 15Ah Headway cells. So I was just wondering if I could squeeze in more Ah using those EVE-LF cells.

This CATL cell size might be the best for a GP24 box.
95Ah nominal (100Ah claimed)
LxWxH = 173mm x 29mm x 203mm

This company just imports lifepo4 cells from China. Maybe they import by huge loads so they can offer good prices. That 95Ah cell costs $47 for each. Shipping cost (inside VN) is just a couple of dollars and it takes 3-5 days. They said their prices include 1 year warranty and VAT (not sure if applying for cells or just full packs). "Warranty and VAT" is a sign that they are doing a honest business.

These cells are just a suggestion. Anyone who is interested in them should ask Shirley first. He knows reliable sources and can help in buying and shipping.

There terminals are meant for spot-welding. I think seller made the threads on their own, depth usually ≤ 5mm. Very shallow .

$35.00 taobao price .

@Shirley,

Exact battery box dimensions are:-

Height 215mm
Length 240mm
Width 370mm

So those 90Ah cells would fit with no problem.

Those cells look good but 174mm * 2 wide is really would be very tough to fit in my particular chair. The LF90's posted earlier would be easier to work with in this particular case.

I mean that most of the time I try to charge slowly, maybe 120Ah pack at 20A. And I try to keep it above the 30% remaining mark. And I charge at a slower to balance 3.500V.

But if its low, and real life means I dont have time and in a hurry I charge at 40A. Or more direct from a power supply. (can do 80A).

If I am in a hurry to end charge, and balance cells, I use 3.65V. If I am out on a long day, or forgot to charge the day before or something, I will run it to 90 or 95 percent discharged. You gotta do what you gotta do! All this is ok too if you accept that its less kind and will shorten service life some. Sometimes thats less important than your own life.

Tru. But 8 of these will/should fit as 2 rows of 4. http://www.lifepo4-batteries.com/sale-1 ... f-car.html

That will give roughly 4.4 times the range of MK at the 5 hour rate.

So if your chair claims 30 ISO miles, as mine does, you will get 132 miles with these...

Reality will be around 2/3rd of that OR more since these keep working to empty. So about 90 miles or better. Thats just crap... :fencing

this would be the way to go - i think using 8 Cells - largest you can fit - but good luck trying to get them to fit - comes out short on my end - IN My Chair - those would be a bit too large to fit 8 side by side - the max on my battery tray is around 330mm to wrap it also -

i have a loose cell here - 36mm x 130mm x 190mm - i checked it in my battery tray that MK group 24 sit in - and it didnt fit - side by side if using 16 cells - and didnt fit the other way either if wanting to use 16 Cells - i know the specs on paper shows it SHOULD fit - but it dosnt on my chair - 646 battery tray -

it may on other chairs - i like the idea of a Large 150ah Cell and fit 8 of them -

the height if fine - but the 130mm x 130mm for two cells to fit side by side - doesnt fit in my battery tray for my chair - 636 - 646 models

thats without the wrapping either - i will check it again when i have more loose cells to try it with - this is the same chair that didnt fit the PC 1500 lead either - not by much but still didnt fit in this chair -

it may fit other chairs fine - forget the PC 1500 - the lithium cells that are 130mm wide wont fit in the battery tray - Now if you dont use the tray that maybe may fit but you still need something to support it the sides etc, and the wrapping -

for me i wouldnt feel comfortable trying to make it fit - the 636 646 chair battery area is very fitted like an Armani suit - :D no room to spare

i will take pictures once i get loose cells - and check it again - its strange but its very minor enough not to make it fit - i even checked it near a loose MK Gel i have on a dolly and its very close but a bit larger overall - the width - that is side by side
