What would the total price with shipping be for the UK?

131 X2 IS 262 Wide. So with 2mm of insulation, at sides and between thats 262+6 wide. So 268? That may not fit.

Will need careful measurement. But 180Ah would be great. Esp for 480 uk pounds!

Do you not get hit by vat and duty importing from china? When I ordered stuff for my ventilator from USA by the time it was delivered it seemed to be twice the original cost :cussing

Approx 1/3rd of the time for large packages. From the US every time.

You can appeal and argue, and win if you are stubborn. Or accept the risk and just pay it.

But so what? Look at it like this.

2x lead bricks, MK gel rated at 73Ah, but only give half that at the 3 hour rate. will cost you £440 delivered. https://www.discountscooters.co.uk/73ah-mk-gel-battery

So you get a usable 40Ah to 45Ah at very best before you stop. Thats £9.50 per Ah, and they will be knackered in a year...
180Ah lithium, is going to cost you at WORST if caught by customs for VAT, £480 plus 96 vat. Thats £576 plus delivery charge whatever that is. Every 10 years or so.
And with 180/45 = 4x the range! 10 times the service life, half the weight, 7x faster charge, etc. And thats only £3.20 per Ah so ONE THIRD the cost of lead. Not including delivery.

In other words you would need 8x lead MK gel batteries to give the same range, but with 10x shorter service life.

To me it looks like 8 of these would easily fit in the space of one Odyssey P1500:

On the face of it. But remember that these are metal shelled cells. The case is negative. You must seperate them, and be sure no metal can contact the ends/sides. So you need seperators, and a bottom, and 4 sides. 2MM plastic ABS or similar and double sided tape will do this. But it adds some size.

Also many chairs like my new one and the storm 4 chair, have exact fitting 260 x 173 x 210 battery areas. And metal!

So every case may need a little careful measurement and planning. But if you currently use Odyssey they should fit.

Most i know are fitted for MK Gel kind - My 646 did not fit the PC 1500 - frame is metal - to be 100% they have to fit when all said and done in a group 24 MK Gel size battery area - sounds great to have that much in a chair and the cost is also great considering -

just have to do the math and have it all planned out long before jumping in. since this 90ah is close - maybe if it can be found a 75ah - of same brand or company etc, may be just whats needed to get the fit most need. and still 150ah isnt bad at all - i wish i had that inside the chair.

yeah i know strange - teasing us

they do have a 75ah version but its too thick - wont fit - you would think it should be a bit thinner than the 90ah but its the same size - in that case better to get the 90ah -- if you can make it fit -

it wont fit in same size as MK Gel 24 - Sinopoly is 61mm thick - 8 of those fit -- to fit 16 of these 90ah - they have to be no more than 29mm to 30mm size at most. unless i am missing something -

Shirley, can you still get these @£20 per cell?

And shipping still 21 --- 44 kg @ £5.8/kg , plus £55 hazard charge? (If I get they will be shipped to US)

Those cells are indeed getting excellent reviews. I'm interested if available. I can fit 16 of them, with proper insulation, into my chair's battery area easily.

Also, does seller offer connector bars for those cells?

LiFe has approx 10 year shelf life. At the end of 10 years they are expected to be at 80% rated capacity, and int resistance doubled.

If they start off 5 years old, then you only have half the shelf life remaining... So how old is new old stock?

I'm willing to roll the dice on those NOS 75Ah cells. Lots of reviews and very positive. One reviewer got a set of eight and tested each, said six measured 80Ah capacity and the other two 83Ah. That's anecdotal of course but reflective of the positive response that particular cell has gotten.

My chair can't fit Odyssey batteries so those 90Ah cells are out of the question for me.

I never saw any cell that gave more than written on the label. At least not without OVER discharging beyond the sensible limit. I have seen lead that does, as they generally give less initially, say 95%, and it climbs to 105% or higher, for say 20 or 30 cycles as it gets properly formed in use. Before tailing off.

So likely the person claiming 83Ah from a 75Ah lithium is likely to have no accurate method of testing. And/or doesent understand how to do it correctly. But at the price I am tempted to test one too. I would order 17, and test the one with the highest self discharge rate. Then would use the other 16 in a pack. Because a COMPLETE 100% discharge is likely to do some damage if you are unlucky.

I understand what you are saying. And any single review should be taken with a grain of salt. The point I was trying to make is that particular cell has lots of reviews and they are positive, pretty much every one.

So would you expect the cell with the highest self-discharge rate to have the least capacity?

I'm thinking of ordering 20. Using the 16 cells I like best for my chair pack, and the remaining four cells can go in a 12v power source box I'll make up for them.

No. But its likely to be lower than average, and its the cell I wouldnt include in a pack.
