After you changed the settings, you RE SAVED the file. Then opened it with your dealer version, and wrote it to the chair?

Send me the file. Or post it here AFTER you saved it.

I am using the OEM software to open, save, and edit the programming, but I am using the dealer level dongle.

When I tried sending the program to the chair I got that error because I have the dealer level dongle.

I will attach the file.

i opened it with my OEM and it shows the OEM section - you removed all the walls in there ?

what changes have you made to the file ?

looks like it worked fine - but when you write it back to your chair with the dealer dongle - it will say something - that you can write it to the chair but cant make changes etc, - i dont recall what it would say -

but you will get a box that says something - i dont recall seeing what your box says - but that file is an oem file now if open with OEM software

Which version are you writing the settings to the PM with? If Dealer, then try writing the settings with the OEM version and see if you get the same error.

good point - always use the OEM software - to edit - save - and write back to the chair - that could be it -

You need to use the DEALER LEVEL SOFTWARE to write that OEM level file to the chair.

I am not sure. I now have an OEM one. So cant test. But it certainly does work one way around.

i havnt use my dealer dongle since i got the OEM one - dont remember how it worked - but it does work -

that file that was posted was an OEM file and the OEM section the walls were removed - now the question is - is it getting written back to the chair that way ?

only way to know is if you read from the chair and save that file - then check it - and if thats the case wit the file that was posted - then its yes - it was written back with the OEM changes made

i dont recall that message when i did it - i remember something that says - you can write this file to the chair but cant make any changes to the file

thats fine - just means i cant change the file but will be written as is - after writing to the chair -- you can read it back - save it and check it

You need to use the DEALER LEVEL SOFTWARE to write that OEM level file to the chair.

Good call Burgerman! It seems illogical to me, but the dealer level software wrote the file to the chair with no problems. Thank you.

Next question, the motor voltage was set at 21.6 so I put it up to 23 thinking that would make the chair a bit faster. The chair is more responsive, but not faster at top speed. Checked it with a GPS and same speed before and after programming. I would have thought bumping up the voltage would have increased the speed?

The chair is an Amy Systems Alltrack R3 HD

Your chair is only faster if you upgrade battery to lithium. And you can push the motor voltage to the max allowable value (25.5V?) to gain the max additional speed, about +2km/h.

As snaker says.

Thats because the nominal 24V on a lead battery (maybe 26V when just charged falls under load to a couple of volts less. So under heavy load like climbing a ramp, maybe 20V. At continuous speed maybe 22 or 23V depending on battery internal resistance and peukert value.

The voltage of the lithium is a little higher to begin with. But it hardly drops at all under load compared to the old lead bricks. So raising that voltage figure can give you a LITTLE extra. But its not much really.

My electric wheelchair with Rnet electronics has a Back rest actuator,  lift/tilt actuator,  legrest adjustable height.  The leg rest also has a actuator to change the angle of the leg rest.  This actuator is connected to seating module but in the settings its turned off intentionally i didn't need this option so in the factory they turned it off in the settings.  But now i want to use.  How can i turn it on in the settings?

https://www.cw-industrialgroup.com/Prod ... -Fi-Dongle A wireless dongle exists now for R-net, VR2 and newVSI. This must be a fairly new product as I've never seen it before.

Think it's a bit of a catch up gimmick now dynamics and Curtis offer wireless programming. They must have some way of limited parameter access for dealer or oem.

Best to stick with the old proven dongle I don't see a big deal with it being wireless. I rather watch a big screen on laptop to make changes. Who knows it may surprise everyone if anyone can get it and how much

It looks as though the dongle has it's built in software so you can access the programming webpage on any wireless device with a web browser.

Its best to just enable the On Board Programming then. At least on the graphical screen joysticks.
All built in. ALMOST exactly the same options.

Always baffles be that they manufacturers do not enable that by default. It would solve so many users basic setup problems. And then no need to buy a £300 dealer level dongle/tool from the powerchair manufacturer. Oh. Wait... Call me cynical... £££

Help with help and ESP
I can't get the help menu to work in the R-net programming software - I have tried downloading the winhelp thing from an earlier thread but that wouldn't install either.
So what am I needing help for?
The Meyra apparently has 5 profiles or speed settings but when I download the settings from the chair it only shows it as having one profile that can be changed/
It also shows something in ESP - assuming that isn't extra sensory perception do I need to change the speed settings in there too?
The chair arrived tonight and it is a bit weird since it is like driving the car in reverse but with a steering wheel that's not very well connected to the steering shaft and it's flashing lights at me too.
It doesn't appear to have anything in the log (unless it has to be connected to the chair to be able to access those) I just did a download from the chair to the PC because it is too dark and cold out there to do anything else.
Since I can't get into the help menu I can't see what these things are - can anyone shed any light for me?

I suspect you are confusing profiles with speeds. Each profile can have setttings for any minimum and any maximum speed.

So if you set op just 1 profile properly it will have say 5 speed setting going from s l o w to FAST. You just change speeds and not profiles. Why would you need more profiles on a scooter?
