Paralised and laid in bed. Midnight. Window open, because its about 7000 degrees in here, and its humid. One sheet only because its hot. Suffering!
Ceiling fan on max!
Carer gone home. First flies come, about 1am. Thousands of tiny, little things that jump on your face and neck and jump about so fast that you cant swat them or see them withouit glasses, what are those?, and they love my laptop screen. Looks around for my bug spray. Its on the bench out of reach.
Obviously. Why wouldnt it be.
Next comes the damned mosquitos. The sound they make as they pass your ears drives me mad and makes me jump! Looks for bug spray, still on bench... More come in. I put the main light on to stop them attacking my laptop. That worked great, now they are managable, with swatting by hand and turning the fan off. Now I am too hot. The light attracts moths. Hundreds of them. They are doing a mad spiral around the lights. And crash on my bed over and over when not fluttering in my face. Looks again at the bug spray. Realises that my carer said she would not forget to plug in chair (she forgot) and that she was not going to forget to hand me the bug spray. Yet there it is. Out of reach.
Literally 3am about 2 hours of suffering later and no way to sleep a pair of wasps turned up. Didnt even know they worked at night. And then another. All buzzing madly, burning themselves on the light bulb and getting angry. And endlessely buzzing my face and landing on my arms. Gradually going mental here!
Mosquito stuck to my arm, and now flat after I swatted it. My or something elses blood all over my arm. Looks for the azo wipes. (Alcohol cleaning tissues). Guess what. They are out of reach too.
Another thing she was to give me before leaving!
As the sun came up, they all dissapeared, every tiny trace. Even the thousands of tiny jumping flies. And I have had zero sleep. I now officially hate bugs. I just ordered a net for my window. EBay. And 6 cans of bug spray cheap. My carer says theres no bugs...
