No I won't. But I can charge faster And control CV. Termination point. And more gental on the cells

Use 3.550V and set termination to 8hours CV and a really low current like 50mA. Let it go for the full 8h if it does. That will allow the BMS to balance the cells without overvolting the battery hopefully. Just this once because 8h is too long for all the time. Thats the best you can do with a BMS.

you mean to charge at 50ma ? i try that when i get around to it - i charge it full first - then set it to those settings ?

discharging now - i monitored it first to see and Cell 4 and 5 are a bit lower than the rest - then i start the dumb load to discharge and Cell 7 and 8 are the weakest it seems now -

what do you think of that ?

i am using your preset for the bounder with BMS - no balance - its already set to 8 hours CV - it cant be changed to longer - why ?

when i used it to charge fully - it stopped after 8 hours - i tried to change it to 10 hours - it wont let me -

Cell 7 and 8 is the weakest - Cell 7 drops to 2.9v after short time on dump load - when done will recharge half way - and check those cells also

i think i may just change out the screws - use grub screws - red loctite and do it over - one at a time - after i get some more nyloc nuts

will give the bounder a break - or take a ride with no ADD ON and see what the 100ah inside does - i dont expect more than 25 miles i think or 30 at most -

That's because there's hidden settings that normal users can't change, but BM has access to these. :shh:

yes i know - he made me that preset - maybe it cant for some reason - i see what he says - maybe he can adjust that - just good to have it at least 10 hours or 12 hours if the pack is dead lets say - at 10A XLR charging - it would take over 10 hours -

but i am going to make a cable to charge it direct using my ADD ON cable - - i can then charge with the PL8 if i wanted at 20A

i believe the BMS can handle 30A or more charging - from the link we found a while back on my BMS - i just like to get it done before i sleep if i use the PL8 and not leave it overnight -

i just need to make a cable from the charger with an XT90 end female -

8 Hours is the maximum for CV Timeout. The only you could set it to is None and if it reaches the 50mA termination point it will stop. If it doesn't and the Amps/Volts start to rise, then you need to stop it.

well if i charge with my ADD ON cable - i can charge faster and no need - it would be done 4 or 5 hours at most -

that 50mA is only for a one time charge - its normally 175mA i believe -

if this pack dosnt improve after i change out the screws - its possible the screws i used dont go down deep enough - with the set screw i will locktite in - may have a better connection

but if after doing this - nothing changes - i just keep using it till its dead in the water - or should i change out a few cells ? not sure if its worth it - this can work for many more years this way - and by then - the chair pack may need replacing if ranges drops too much -

in that case - dont think insurance would pay for another pack - i may just build one then -

i locktite everything now - it seems to be improved alot - but Cell 5 is now the weakest lowest one - doing another discharge -

i may change out the cable that connects both cells - on Cell 5 - i have a straight cable - i want to add one with a loop around - less stress if for some reason - thats about the last thing i can do - how ever it ends up thats it

i used red locktite - and nyloc nut - - i had a few of the cells - lock washers - not sure why i didnt have them on a few of them - strange - must have been a reason back then -

now just flat washer - - it looks alot better - dump load and nothing is dropping - only Cell 5 is lower - i want to see how it ends up how close they are in the end
