Batteries

I found a company that will supply me batteries for my chair vat free. Got a pair of yuasa 80 amp batteriee for £236 pound delivered. 4.7 ohm. Not the best but its only for my back up chair so just the job.

These?... https://www.yuasa.co.uk/batteries/leisu ... 26-80.html Just 160 cycles before they're knackered! :fencing

Once fitted a set of these, or at least their predecessor when on offer for 49 pounds each. They swapped them for new 4 times in a year, then gave me a refund!

Yuasa tec80-12. 300 cycles at 100% Dod enough for me as chair gets used once a week if that, cant see the point in buying top quality batteries just for them to sit there.

All 3 of those links will give half reasonable cycle life, at the expense of torque and control, and slow charging. And less range than you would expect due to impedance. All are 3x the impedance of the odyssey. So 3x the voltage drop as you load them with turns or ramps/thresholds etc. Getting worse as they age. Be OK in a chair programmed for my grandma she wouldn't notice.
