tires tubes etc, not worried about stocking them - i have a few just in case i can easily swap out the whole rim tire - then change a tube and get another one for back up - since i use the same caster tire on 3 chairs - i have a few sets of tires and tubes for the casters - one set of tube for one chair rear tires -

other chair rear tires - i have whole set or rims with tires mounted and ready to just swap if needed - that gives me time to then get another tube or tire and go to bike shop to install - - only casters can be done here - thats easy enough - but the bounder chair is a different story - thats a bit more complicated on the rear tires

i may or would call the tech. to do that for me if and when needed - i am hoping its only needed once year when changing worn out tires - i know i will wear them out during the summer - then put in for new ones in the winter and start over - new tires - clean chains - sprockets - brakes etc, thats the winter tune up on that chair

now i did find a PM120A from a quickie QM710 chair - i made an offer - didnt think they would accept it - but they did- $65 dollars - i did it because for $65 never know if i can use - now will have two backups 120A

i made an offer for a cable - just to see if they accept it - if they do - i buy it - if not - its fine - i dont need one either way at the moment -

but the Joystick is the harder ones to find - many permobil New ones - and alot of money - nothing close to $150 for new OEM Joystick color etc,


amazing they accepted my offer for the cable also $20 Rnet 60 inches - i wasnt looking to spend money i though they were both going to be rejected - Winter time is costing me money - staying home - bored - and shop

Well cables screw up. So having a long spare means whichever one does, you can fix it or get going again if out. So at that price good to have.

Also that means you can program your 120 power module ready with your file from the chair. You need a joysstick, and a PM and a bus cable. And you need to add 20 to 24V to the two centre pons THE CORRECT WAY AROUND! Plus to plus. Minus to minus. Dont get it backwards there be smoke!
Then program it. Ignore all the errors because you have no seating, motors etc connected. Just send it your preset.

Now, when you break down, you can just swap the power module and it will go. Be suse your girls or a capable person knows which cupboard you stashed these in. And you are all set for a rescue.

I guess most likey may just sit on shelf and never get used I won't try to program it. If I ever needed it I would change it connect to chair turn it on save the setting it had just to see them later And send my file to chair. This way I cant make mistake. Hopefully it even works

All mine are pre configured with correct compensation and driving setting to match my bm2 or bm1 and salsa. And with seating settings for the salsa. With no module connected, that just gets ignored. So now they are all plug and play, drive correctly on all chairs.

i can actually do that also - i do have set of motors i can connect them and just need the one power cable from the Rnet to a battery pack i have sitting around here - i may try searching for the power cable main one from the Rnet to SB50 -

what should i search for ? Rnet main power cable ? or is there a Name for that cable to get better results thats all i need then

Any, pg system cable, even pilot plus one, probably VR2 etc will be ok. So chair parts... Battery loom for almost any pg chair.

Or just use 2 terminal push on blade connectors and your power supply.

Get yellow up to 6mm2. 9.5mm wide. These fit perfectly. Cover ends in red or black heatshrink for pos/neg. You will not need thick cables. Connect to your power supply.

Normally you use a single bus cable to power module to connect in a simple chair.
Sometimes you want seating options and then you use a joystick to ISM. And then ISM to power module. The ISM has 2 bus connections. So you can do that.

But if you want to add say another attendant joystick, or maybe a stability module, and a Omni maybe, you may need more connections. I have an IOM module added in for e.g. So I can use RC to steer when not sat in it. So that bus thingly allows you to connect more stuff to the bus. Its like an 4 gang extention for r-net bus cables. And usually way overpriced!

Nothing except L includes lighting too. In the EU or UK anything faster than 4mph MUST include lighting anyway. So any ISM we buy here automatically does lights too. In the US its possible to find both. I am surprised its economically worthwhile even doing a non lights version.

thanks - i just got one on ebay for $15 free shipping - i just had my girl check - your right - male to female

the cable is 23 inches more than enough to make it work - this way i can tie it down nicely giving it some slack -

this comes from a permobil chair - the rubber molding around the JS is peeling off - thats the only thing that was wrong -

what can i use to glue it back - not to destroy it - but strong enough to make it hold - and removeable if needed - i feel one button dosnt seem to click as good as the others - well see -

i am just curious to see if it works which i believe it should - i was told by the vendor once that those new JS dont work on the 646 636 chairs - which is bullshit - dont see why they wont work - the rest of the system is Rnet - dosnt matter what chair is on

Theres two types of those joysticks. The stock R-Net ones. And the somewhat cheaper Permobil one with fewer buttons and slightly smaller screen etc. But permobils can also have stock R-Net ones too. At least here. The stock R-net one will definitely work and no programming needed. The permobil cheaper one, may or may not... Depends on firmware.

i will try it one of these days - tomorrow will be going out for a ride - one of the last good warmer days i see - i still need to find a sweet spot for how to angle the JS so i can run it full speed based on how i hold it now - still waiting on my JS knobs - Mushroom kind which i hope to receive the samples sent out - if they were sent out -

i removed my spacers i had which raised the JS higher - looks fine without them - but not sure what benefit it may be to me now - if any - just have to try things -

Just want to add this latest - figured it happens to me - has anyone had issues with ebay if an item was not received by USPS - local post office shows it was delivered - i never got it - it wasnt delivered to me - -

i found a Rnet cable and now i got screwed - not only i didnt get it in the mail - - the seller dosnt want to deal with it - because it shows as delivered from the tracking - and ebay is a pain to get in touch with - so i dont have the cable - not getting my money back

and everything on ebay ships USPS - no one wants to ship UPS or Fedex which is much better - because of a few extra dollars

i have to wait 3 days before i am even able to email ebay about it - - cant find a number at all to call - i keep forgetting why i hate ebay every so often and get reminded when this happens -

waiting on another ebay purchase on monday - will i get it - or loose out on that also - the seller had 99% good reviews -

i went back and forth with him - and nothing - file a claim with ebay he says - i filed a claim with USPS about it - i asked him to do it also
he says he has no reason or problem with them - yes maybe true on his end but he shipped something with them and buyer isnt getting it - would be helpful if he told them also i would think ?

Many times over the years. EBay will refund you, you need to just make a complaint. Ask for evidence like a signiture etc. Failing that you can do the same thing with paypal directly. Never failed to be refunded yet.

i just put in an offer for another one from another seller - asking to ship Fedex instead - they all ship USPS - because its cheaper for them but very unreliable with packages -

ebay gets back with answer in 48 hours they say - so if i do it Wed. - i should know by Friday or Saturday - then move on to paypal which can take 90 days - not loosing sleep over $15 dollars - just the point of it all - needs to be done
