Rear lights

I'm not going to use these costly 12V and all wheelchair output is 24V? I like them because they are bright, just the right length, flexible, easily fitted. Is there a way round the problem people can suggest?

Wire in series will work and won't require additional hardware. It's the most simple way. If one fails they both go out.

You could add a dirt cheap 24v to 12v converter like

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-DC-5-40V-to-3-3V-5V-9V-12V-24V-Buck-Step-Down-Converter-Volt-Linear-Regulator/263325140035?hash=item3d4f66c443:g:N2UAAOSwPIhaDAcB

Get it set correctly and wrap in electrical tape or cover in hot glue so it doesn't get accidentally adjusted.

I have some very similar but have USB outputs that I put in my car for passengers to charge their phones with.

You can also get sealed and weather proof 24-12V DC-DC's for a couple $'s each on eBay - a bit bigger than some of the one's that are bare boards, but you don't need any boxes and a bit less hassle...

Of course if the DC-DC goes out, so does the light, but....
