What control system is it fitted with?

If you dont know, find a web picture and link!

From memory they used r-net systems, so which is yours?

So you need an R-Net programming dongle. Not very cheap. But pretty much essential.

Controller is sort of a catch-all term for all the control electronics. This will include the Joystick pod, the power module, possibly various actuator modules, etc... There are various brand and model 'families' and all the electronics on a given chair have to be from the same 'family' as parts from the different families won't work with each other....

A lot of this stuff lives under the seat or in other hard to reach places, but the joystick is easy to see, and they are each unique to the family, so it is the easiest way to ID what 'family' is used on the chair...

Thank you ex-goosetider

This chair had been serviced by permibil all of its life so I can ass-u-me it’s a factory controller

When I took possession it was greasy Grimmey and you couldn’t see the lcd, well barely! Last night I took it all apart and

everything is working great now. Here’s a pic:

An R-Net OEM Programmer dongle - about $500, or sometimes you can rent by the week.

Software (free download).

Puma 40 backup, 73Ah MK (for now)

Wow... just a lil pricey, LOL

First question is anyone in or around Baton Rouge or New Orleans U.S.A. that has one we can use to program?

Second question Name of a rental place?

Third question Would it not be cheaper just to buy a newer updated complete programable system? If so which one?

Thanx everyone for helping me!

Ok I can rent one for 30 days off eBay for around $85.00

What gains can I expect? precision, speed, maneuverability, etc etc ?

Thanx in advance as always,

Too much to list. But you will be fine tuning and adjusting stuff 2 years later. I am.

You could start by reading here carefully.
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8035

Or by copying my DRIVE settings, and speed settings here TO START WITH.

You need the OEM software to open and see that file.
