Hey all, Just found these on eBay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... TQ:GB:1123

They may fit an Entervan? But im unsure if they will clear the suspension.
I would jump at this deal if i did not already have my 18's

Saw those already. Tyres definitely too wide. They will hit the rear sliding door bottoms. They should miss the suspension I think. I know this since theres just a 2mm gap on mine between door and tyre with the 245 section tyres on 8.5 wide rims.

But the tyres could be changed.

The other thing is the offset. I think these are going to sit too wide coimpared to the ones I have now. They are 45. They "might" fit a stock van with a little extra space between the rer doors and the tyres but the extended ones on rollx/entervan have less room. I would be interested in them myself. But then I would take the risk (offset?), and the tyres will fit my brothers car... So a deal could be done.

I haven't kept up on the current stupidity with wheel bolt circles

Are you sure those will fit the bolt circle?

I have learned, much to my embarrassment that

Late model US 3/4 and 1 ton 8 bolt wheels "ain't" all the same

That the Mopar minivans are similar but different than the old Mopar "A body" (Dart/ Valient) 4" bolt circle

That some modern Mopar passenger cars are CLOSE but NOT the same as the traditional 4.5" bolt circle

This stuff is not always a matter of metric to inch conversion, they are actually different

Here's my 67, which has a Ford 4.5" bolt circle rear axle. It is currently wearing Jeep rear wheels

(This is the same bolt circle as many of the late model Jeeps, Ford Ranger/ Explorer, older Ford and Mopar passenger cars, etc)

They will definitely fit. And not hit the suspension. I think. But will likely hit the door as it opens. Bolt circle is correct. But offset isnt always correct, and tyre is 10mm wider than mine. Ant its extremely close to that door...

That car is crying out for a big V8 and a heavy shot of http://www.nitrous.info

And yes I ripped a 1.6 litre 4 pot out of my car, fitted an alloy 4.5 litre V8 and 140bhp of nitrous. Went really well and growled. Play... http://www.burgerman.info/images/V8.wav It wasnt quiet, had tons of compression, was a blueprinted motor... Car looked pretty stock. So surprised many boy racers as it left them in tyre smoke and went sideways in the first 3 gears.

And with C11 still left on the side window after the drag racing earlier in the day...

Didnt look much, didnt handle, wouldnt stop, but didnt half go when you hit the gas! Note my early helicopter flying practice in the mid 90s here too!

Hi
Turns out my set of 18's is not complete :( GUTTED!
I went to a tyre shop to get the rubber put on, 3 wheels are 18" TYRES ON!
Got to the 4th... Its a 19"...
I have had them 3 months & never noticed, I bet the EBAY guy I got them from is Happy. Says he will find me an 18"... yeah right!

Anyways in my quest to find another 18" with 5x114.3 fitment, Id better attempt to sell this 19". The Price is silly i know, but im hoping to find a swap.

As well as being the wrong size, Even the PCD is wrong 100x5 (more scooby than Grand Voyager...)

Here is my ebay listing for the 19".

sAME WIDTTH/SIZE/OFFSET as I have now.

Looking for 20s / 9J and 40 (ish) offset at the moment. Hard to find, other than very expensive scooby fit rims from japan...

Is it ok to put 245/50/r18 tyres
onto
18" x 7,5j Rims

whats the good and bad info i need to know?

Ive got 3 18x8,5 rims and struggling to find a 4th rim.
Im looking at puting my tyres on some 7,5j rims off a chrysler 300c as i know they'll fit my Entervan,
its just unclear to me weather or not everything will clear as im unsure what the offset is on 300c rims and what it means to how much they stick out on in the arches.. . lol

cheers.

Dunno about offset.

But... 245/50 - 18 ON A 7.5 rim wont look good. Look good on 8.5 or 9 wide. But 9 will not clear rear door, unless you go to 20 inch wheels.

When you go to 20s, you need 9 inch rims with the same tyre width as on a 8.5 inch rim and a 50 series tyre, as the tyre is lower profile.

So they are an inch too narrow. But more importantly they are et 24 I think, so they will stick out another 20mm. They will probably NOT fit since the rim is 1 inch narrower, saving only half the amount that you lose from the reduced offset, 12.5mm.

Fitting Startech Wheels to a Chrysler Voyager

Postby dannos85 » Fri Sep 14, 2012 12:01 am

After a long 19months getting my set of wheels complete they are finally fitted.

Image

Image

They are 18x8,5j with 245 50 18 Rubber.
My car is slightly different to Burgermans in as much as the space in my front wheel arches is smaller.
These things rub the inner panel on full steering lock, so having to steer the car a quarter turn less in tight spaces in either direction.

A bit of a pain, But here is the answer... Thankyou Ebay...

My local garage mechanic has confirmed the limiters can be fitted to the steering rack in under 30minutes a side & should be relitively easy when up on the ramps.

I hope they do the trick.

The quarter turn on the steering wheel was basicly tested with a flat cable-tie, sliding between the tyre & panel. A few milimetres difference.

Or a slim wheel spacer. That 245 50 18 tyre size is perfect on that van.

Tell me, what are the wheels actually from? Should anyone wish to order a set?

I got them through eBay

2 of them are a bit dull on passenger side & the 2 on the driver side are really shiney.

I contacted Chrysler for another shiney pair

Chrysler UK told me they are no longer available. (aparently FIAT have bought chrysler out & given startech the kick)

Write your message in english on google translate, Then copy & paste the german translation to them. Ask if they speak english at the same time. Alot of german people will reply in english if they know the language.
Might be worth asking about ET35 as they might have some.

Look at these dodge rims

I cant read german. Will these ship to UK? And for four, and new?

If so I will buy them. 35ET means that they will likely need the mounting skimming by a few mm to miss the lower rear door with the lowered floor mod.
