Cheap alternative to lowered floor side ramps

Not sure as it claims that you can? Maybe you have to duck down a bit going in?

Well its much more than that. Even if you were to get in, recline the rear or something, my head is curently just a few inches from the ceiling.

EG typical chair. Take a look at his head clearance, and when at the wheel. Imagine if the floor was 10 to 11 inches higher!

Might be better in a full sized van. Or a low scooter as they show it.

Looks like its a chrysler grand voyager they attach it to for side access. Surely they wouldn't just sell it if it doesn't work? They insist lowering of van is not required??

Well watch the vid! I bang my head on the door too. And thats with a 10 inch dropped floor.

On the vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvsarIXqkKg look at the block/plate on the back/side of the passenger seat. Thats where the stock floor would be!

If my van had not had the usual 10 inch floor drop, (and my chair is quite low), I wouldnt be able to get in the door at all without head removal. To be fair that picture shows a low scooter, and with a little old lady you might get in. But you will bump your head on the roof once inside anyway. They actually do a 13 inch dropped floor for taller people.

Also the ramp will be really steep. With a rise of 10 inches less, and with lowering suspension that drops another 8 inches, I already get problems with tyre spinning if its wet. So I am not sure its really practical even if you are a midget!

lowering of the floor isn't needed to fit the ramp, or to use it to just get a chair or scooter in. so that part of the claim is right.
lowering of the floor is for the user once inside the van.
