Electronc accelerator

Concidering moving from mechanical push/pull handcontrols to electronic accelerator on planned new van.
Anyone have experience? Good, bad, indifferent?

Cant say I ever tried. But I use the cruz control at least half the time. Its just easier. Even in traffic, slowing, overtaking, etc. You get good at it. So electronic control should be much better if the software is well written..

I've got electronic gas/brake from EMC. 110,000 miles and seems to work well other than being entirely too expensive.
