Telescopic ramps and tall cars

I have telescopic ramps. I believe they’re 288 cm when fully extended. My scooter is 132 cm long and a little less than 100 kg. Would it be possible to drive it empty on to a tall pickup truck? If not, how low would the floor of the car need to be to do it safely? I need to get it to and from the airport, and need to know what kind of vehicle I can travel with. Some options are more available and less expensive. That’s why I wonder.

Its hard to guess. Pickup trucks come in low, up to crazy. And scooters can be weak or powerful. And available grip is a difficult thing to guess too. So nobody can tell really you.

So I basically need to measure the truck (most are Hilux, BTW) and then test that height.

I’ve come to the conclusion a winch would be very useful. Failing that, solid straps to hold it.

It went up the ramp without need for straps. And at 1 km/h. No problems. But we were three people on hand to sight the direction, another to drive it one handed, and one to be ready to spring to if something went wrong.
