Although not using a wheelchair myself MrsSRD has three; a state provided Newton Badger that she mainly uses indoor and that she's managed to turn over backwards on the ramp into our Brotherwood converted VW Sharan, an HNE Tornado that she uses for around the garden, the village, shopping trips, theatre etc. which I've managed to turn over backwards when loading into the same vehicle (Ok, I was going a bit quick and there was a heavy bag on the back) and a Jazzy 1400 that she uses for country fairs, ploughing matches, 'walks' across our local Downs etc.

She has MS and, although not confined to a chair, has no lifting ability in her legs and can't walk much more than 10 yards in one hit. She also has a lot of pain brought on by a scoliosis and degradation in her spine.
