Hello,
Sorry 'bout the hackneyed greeting but I couldn't help myself!

My name is Luis, I am a C5/6 quad & have been in a chair for about 13 years now. I live on the south east coast of Australia. I am a boilermaker - metal fabricator/welder by trade & have a diploma of fine art. I still do art & weld & cant help but but dabble in any number of projects at once, Wheelchair modification being one.

Very soon after my accident, having a relativity mechanically savvy head, it became painfully clear (Probably mostly because said head kept colliding with the ground from the many times I've tipped chairs over) 99% or wheelchairs on the market are total junk.

I stumbled over this site some years back but didnt give it the attention it deserves so am very glad to have rediscovered it now. Just soon enough in fact to give me pause for thought before I forked out serious cash for two, out of the box, LiFePo4 batteries & accessories.

Be careful. There are very few lithiums that suit powerchairs right now. Although plenty that will work in a fashion...
