Hi my real name is Alan Maccini from Florida, USA.
I'm a 7 year l4 inc para, a walkie. As time has passed the walkie has moved to being seated more often.

Before my injury I ran a yacht restoration business here in Florida. Had a lot of fun and made a few bucks. I was fortunate enough to retire shortly after my injury. I'm now vice president of a non-profit Segs4vets.org. We provide Segways to severely injured service men and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. The money sucks, all our officers are volunteers.

I found this site while roaming the web. It's one of the few I've seen that tells it like it is. The DME manufacturers are clueless to our needs. The path of least resistance is the most profitable for them so we just keep getting more of the same old same old.
