Best wishes to all.
I'm not really a wheelchair driver, not yet. But with ankles that have withstood 75 years of wear and tear and sprains and strains, and with another 4 months to go before I get an evaluation from the NHS, I decided to get a 'preloved' scooter. I was offered a 'spares or repair' mini crosser for a song and decided to chance it. The drive is unpredictable and I suspect it needs reprogramming. The manufacturer says I will have to contact a dealer and I suspect 'rip off'.
So I browsed around and found that if a person lives in a country without a distributor it is possible to bypass the restrictions biased against disabled in the EU and USA and effectively DIY or get it done by a tech savvy acquaintance. So this forum is now on my favourites list and I intend to glean as much information as I can, and get the scooter on the road.
