New in this forum allow me to introduce myself and the relationship to our wheelchair.
I´m from Austria, electrical engineer and "personal service center" for all technical related issues of our parents and relatives.
As my father suffers on walking disability (I don´t know the specific word - he can´t walk anymore) we bought a used wheelchair approx. one year ago as mobility means everything to him. It is an Invacare Typhoon II. Beside the fact that all the shops told us that this model is obsolete and they can´t help us further with spare parts anymore it seems that getting help on problems is not so easy.
Now I´m the beloved son whose hobby it is to repair all the electrical (or non electrical) stuff of our parents, relatives and friends.
I´m electrical engineer for more than 20 years already, measurement tools and a lot of other tool stuff is stored in my "basement hospital".
So knowledge should be available
