I am very pleased to find this site .
My name is George Sideriadis and I am dealing with multiple sclerosis and it's challenges, one of them is mobility.
I travel in the US and Europe often with a collapsible electric wheelchair.
Two years ago I drove through England and Scotland and I had with me my manual chair, it was almost impossible on cobble stone pavements.
I decided to build a wheelchair that is not of the mass production useless kind.
The BM3 or a close variation.
I would like to make it possible to be easily dismantled or collapsed so I can lift it into the boot (trunk) of a small rental car.
My goal is to keep the sections of the chair to 40 lbs or less, if possible.
I am now looking for a vendor that would have the 6" diameter, 4.5" width wheel, as used in the BM3 design.
Any leads for US vendors would be very helpful.
Happy to be here.
Best regards.

Hello Burgerman.
I would like your guidance in my endeavor to build a wheelchair similar to your BM3.
If you are comfortable with doing so I will be asking for your opinion as I am progressing, if not, no worries.
I do not wish to be an unwanted pest to anyone.
I an VERY grateful and appreciative for all the hard work and effort you invested, in making your website.
Sharing your experience and knowledge with the handicapped community is so encouraging to everyone living with limitations.

My best regards.

George Sideriadis
