Hello,

my name is Thomas from Germany. I've got a severe heart and kidney disease which makes me dependent on a wheelchair for longer distances but I can walk small distances in the house.

The Lithium-Battery and the drive train is what interests me most in the BM3. As the Sunrise Medical F55 is not available in Germany I would have come up with a completely new frame anyway.

You don't need to build an entire BM3 just to get lithium. You can retrofit many chairs with an appropriate lithium pack you build up yourself.

Many folks have done so and I anticipate doing so over the winter. My LiFePO4 pack will start it's life in a Magic Mobility X4 and eventually make its way to a Permobil C500.
