Private Messages and random sending

I Just wondered fi it is me or if there is a general issue with the private message facility on this site as I randomly have issues sending messages.
Again today I sent a pm at 13:08 and another just a few minutes ago and bot are just stuck in the outbox and seem to be going no where fast.

The recipient has to log in to the board to know they have received a pm.
