Another blast from the past. My old race Rover V8 with nitrous dropped into an old 4 cylinder ford.

8 into 1 exhaust, 3 inch bore, one resonator box. 4.5 litre V8 with big valves etc and a daft compression ratio. and 140bhp of nitrous on the throttle microswitch. Car rocked when revved. It had a lot of pickup and a 6.8k redline. Great sleeper car with a lot of power.
If it didnt smoke the tyres too bad (you could do that in the first 3 gears easily) it accelerated like no other road car at the time. Ran 13s at the strip with gas. Manual 5 speed and paddle race clutch.

Animal to drive! Note the number in the side window. From the drag strip at york about 3 hours earlier. Also note I am stood, flying small helicopter. That was all 95.

It did growl a bit and sounded angry. Like it wanted to bite you. Throttle response was like a bike. My mum was scared to drive it. Till she dropped me off at the pub one night. Then I couldnt keep her out of it.
