I have read in the Spanish press that the United Kingdom is going to give a blowout in its energy policy.
It seems that the extraction and search for gas and oil will begin to increase shortly.

Is it true?

Whats happening is that theres been a lot of polls done. And a few local elections. Its very clear that people want no part of this big global warming/net zero nonsense. They have known this for the last 15 years. The difference it that theres an 4 yearly election coming...

So "just in time" the conservative party are pretending that they care about car drivers. That they care about the cost of net zero bankrupting us all and that they care about energy security. So they are "allowing" on the front page of every newspaper and on every lefty TV station some 100 licences to companies to look for oil and gas in the waters around scotland. Thats a fraction of whats needed. Theres over 650 actual requests this yeaar alone, IN SPITE of the government taxing oil companies to the tune of 80 percent plus on any profit. So its all meant to make it appear that they are starting up our own oil/gas production. In reality its about 10% of what we need. As soon as they get back into power it will all be forgotten.

Its marketing bullshit for the gullible.
We are still subsidising electric cars, windmills, and ignoring most of the gas and oil in the north seas and irish seas, all the shale gas, and nuclear. And even cheaper coal. We still have a ban on new gas central heating boilers in 7 years and green subsidised heat pumps to replace these. We still have a ban in 2030 of all pertol and diesel cars. With trucks planes and ships soon after...

Its just a little bullshit to get votes. Next they will anounce tax reductions. And all the other pre election nonsense to get votes. They will pretend to be a brexit based conservative party that we voted for. Instead of the centreleft green globalist pro EU elites that they actually are. They have been in power for 14 years and NOW they begin to do a few tiny things we are all wanting just befor an election.

So yes, but it will take a decade before new oil/gas flows. If it doesent get cancelled again by the next lot to be elected. And it will. The thing is that the current conservative party have been overtaken by a bunch of green socialist liberals. They SAY what they think we want to hear and do exactly the opposite.

Well its not just words but its an early stage, lots of people and politcians pushing for net zero to be delayed or junked. Its far too little, and 14 years too late. And it will get reversed as soon as they think we are not looking. Those in charge, dont actually want it. They are idealogical net zero believers. It not what the voters want though. So they pretend, but they think they know better.

So in order to get votes at upcomming election the current "conservative" party that has been in power 14 years is having to pretend they are actual conservatives again.

After ignoring and trying to reverse brexit for 7 years and still fighting it, after behaving like the green party that we did not vote for, after being more socialist than the actual socialist labour party, after increasing taxes on business and printing money like its going out of fashion. After sutting down all the nuclear, gas, oil that we have here, and coal, and ignoring 200 years of worth of shale gas and making it actually ILLEGAL to use any of this fuel. And after signing us up to as many socialist world controlling groups as possible and following the WEF bullshit for donkeys years. And after allowing 10 million immigrants in over the last 20 years, NOW they are pretending to want to do something about it. Its all too little too late in an attempt to not be kicked out at the next erection.
