Here there are different income classifications. That's how someone can have 10x the income of another and pay only 1/3 the tax rate paid by the one with a lower income. That's unfair!
the fact that the political classes have managed to get "percentage" accepted as fair at all. It plainly isn't. Take 2 people. Both pay 20% tax. One earns 1,000 monthly, one earns 10,000 monthly.1/3 the tax rate
Life may be unfair but it's life.
Tax rates should be equal regardless of the amount or type of income.
Maybe the person with a large income derives more benefit from the infrastructure. Someone with a yacht might need the coast guard while most will not.
When the government builds a highway in front of someone's land and he then sells that land for 20x more than the price before the highway you're gonna lower his tax rate so he doesn't have to pay more in tax dollars than the guy without that windfall. You are drinking some wacky kool-aid.
