Thats the one I found.Saved with the rest of my software and forgotten.

The stupid thing though is this. I never paid for a copy of windows over dozens of PCs since win 95 days. Of DOS 6.22. Except for windows 10. It came with my latest deskop, and pre installed on my laptop. Legal versions. A first for me!

And after fighting mocrosoft by phone after it keeps telling me that its a non legit copy, and jumping through hoops to get it offcial on BOTH my PCs, I tod them to shove it. And ran the KMS activators. Why? Because its just easier.

I swap components a lot. Once you swap and change enough parts, it decides its a new computer... And once a new copy! Well it can whistle! Now I am back in charge. And I am using the Corp volume licence version too, which has a few options like dumping that lock screen and controlling updates etc. And disabling all that metro ap bull, along with the poning home, checking for new apps and a lot of other stuff. Their fault. They made it too complex to stay legit unless you use a PC like my gran! I have had 2 different motherboards, different graphics card, and a bunch of different boot disks. And it doesent like it! Even on my laptop, a warranty motherboard and a bigger nVME boot disk... And it cries.

Now I can just clone a copy of my PC's boot disk, to BOTH my laptop spare disks, and to my Laptop and it works for both. Why/how? I ran it on both machines (both use nVME super fast tiny PCIe drives) and installed all the correct drivers for each on one windows instalation. So it runs on either.

Yeah I can see why a KMS solution is easier. MS needs to realise there are PC enthusiasts who swap out parts regulary and need to make a version of Win10 without the activation crap. And they wonder why people use illegal KMS activated copies...

They are stupid really. If they made it cheaper, people would just buy it. most of china, poorer partsof the world have always used windows for free. They cant afford the cost. Its a years wages in some parts of the world. And many cant use legal versions because of the activation crap that makes it ready to throw an error the next time you upgrade a motherboard/disk... And if it was cheaper they wouldnt need it.

And a pure operating system without the need for they money making metro ap/ads and pushing paid microsoft services/store etc. Takes time to strip them all out...

I am using enterprize version. Because I can! And its better... More control over what it allows you to stop. Or not allow.

Pirated ones all update fine. Very latest corp/enterprise version here. With the crap stripped out.

But clean install is better anyway.
